Apostle Kevin Cunningham
IS the C.E.O, Founder and Senior Pastor of the Transformation Center Chicago, Inc. He is the husband of Deirdre Cunningham since 1994, and they have 5 wonderful and beautiful children: Keith,Kara, Keaera, Kiya and Jeremiah. Apostle Cunningham has been a minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ for 27years and pastoring for 19 years. He is extremely passionate about the cause of Christ, the Word of God and seeing lives being transformed through the Word ofGod and the Power of God. Apostle Kevin has been given a vision to see lives transformed and the Body of Christ becoming the agent of change in the communities where they are located. The Body of Christ is commanded to be the light of the world which means that they are to be the visible model, blueprint, and the example of how things can be done, and the possibilities of change clearly seen and understood. Apostle Kevin has a passion for transforming communities by establishing institutions of learning that will educate, empower, encourage, enlighten, and edify the residents within those communities.
Apostle Kevin is a lifelong resident and native of Chicago; born and raised on the Westside of Chicago. He loves the city, and he clearly believes that accomplishing vision, realizing potential, and sustaining hope is always possible for those that persist, endure, and persevere. He believesthat these things are a reality however they must be educed and realized by faith in God, and faith in the Word. Apostle is a product of the Chicago Public School system, he attended Daniel Webster Elementary School and graduated valedictorian. Upon on graduation, he went to VonSteuben Metropolitan Science Center in the North Side of Chicago. Apostle Kevin received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Marketing at Upper Iowa University,graduating in 3.5 years. He became employed by Chicago Public Schools, receiving a Master of Arts Degree in Education. He later received a Master’s Degree in Theology, and received an honorary Doctorate Degree in Philosophy with an emphasis in Divinity from Legacy Christian University in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Apostle Kevin is an educator in the Chicago Public School system since 1997. Currently, he teaches the fourth grade for Langford Elementary School located in the Englewood community. He has a passion for education and inspiring people to become all that they can be.
